What is your role at BBP?  I assist customers in industries that fit our product lines, which includes steel, paper mills, pharmaceuticals and more in the Charlotte area. In addition to assisting customers with new products to improve productivity, I also assist customers through product service and training. It’s important to pinpoint the customer’s needs so they can have the biggest improvement in their day to day processes.

How long have you been in the industry? I have 17 years of experience in the field of hydraulics and hydraulic control engineering. I have been working with instrumentation since August.

What do you enjoy most about your role? I enjoy the diversity of our customers. Since BBP serves a wide variety of industries, each day is different. It’s interesting to see how our products can improve productivity throughout various industries.

What makes you proud to work at BBP?  It is rewarding to know that we can solve problems for our customers, and allow their operations to run smoothly and efficiently.

What are 3 words to describe BBP? Capable. Successful. Committed.

 What is something that most people do not know about you? My hidden talent is juggling.

Motto or Personal Mantra:  Be a warrior, not a worrier.

If I could do it all over again, I would: I would have moved to Charlotte earlier. We love it here because of the beautiful warm weather and great people.

If your life had a theme song, what would it be?  Even Flow by Pearl Jam

Well what type of music do you listen to? I love 90’s Alternative like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Smashing Pumpkins.

What advice do you have for prospective BBP employees?  If you come in willing to work hard and are open to learning, you will succeed. It is a great company with even better people.

If you had unlimited resources what hobby would you want to learn? I would learn how to play the guitar.

What are you thankful for? I’m thankful that my girls are healthy and happy.
