Pressure

Lower costs and expand pressure measurement capabilities with new, versatile pressure measurement equipment

Advanced pressure gauges are able to accurately return all types of pressure measurements, from rugged environments on drilling rigs to low-static-pressure environments, where the measurements need to be smaller and more precise. With features such as attached digital displays and multi-sensing transmitters, we have solutions you need for complex pressure measurements in tough conditions.

Products

ABSOLUTE PRESSURE

Absolute pressure transmitters are ideal for use in applications where the measurement will not be affected by atmospheric pressure. These transmitters compare a pressure relative to absolute (zero) pressure. The measurement output is always positive.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE

Differential pressure transmitters are used to measure the flow rate of liquid, gas or steam that have non-variable pressures and temperatures. These type of transmitters compare two pressures and transmit the difference to a control unit.

DRAFT PRESSURE

Draft pressure transmitters are a unique type of differential transmitter, designed to measure the small differences in very low static pressure environments.

FIELD WIRELESS – ISA100

Our field wireless solutions allow for process measurements that were previously too difficult or uneconomical to implement. We offer a complete line of ISA100 compliant pressure transmitters including transmitters that can measure differential pressure, absolute pressure and gauge pressure with a variety of different process connections.

GAUGE PRESSURE

Gauge pressure transmitters are used to measure the pressures of liquid, gas and steam. These transmitters produce a measurement by comparing a pressure relative to atmospheric pressure.

LOW-FLOW PRESSURE

Our low-flow pressure transmitters combine a DP transmitter and an Integral Flow Orifice (IFO) into one unit, producing a total system that measures low flow accurately. Using Bernoulli’s equation, these transmitters can measure the flow of a fluid through a pipe.

MASS FLOW (MULTI-VARIABLE) PRESSURE

A multi-variable transmitter combines a differential pressure transmitter, a gauge pressure transmitter, a temperature transmitter and a flow computer into one unit. The flow computer is programmed with application information and uses the three measured inputs to calculate the mass flow.

MULTI-SENSING

A multi-sensing transmitter combines a differential pressure transmitter, gauge pressure transmitters, and temperature transmitter into one field instrument. An option for RS485 Modbus communication is available, allowing for easy integration with other devices.

PRESSURE TRANSMITTERS

Pressure transmitters are used in both process and storage environments. Our solutions are built for industrial applications in pressure ranges up to 10,000 psi, and are suitable for both liquids and gasses. They are designed to provide accurate measurements and a long life expectancy at a low cost.

SUBMERSIBLE PRESSURE TRANSDUCERS

Submersible pressure transducers are incredibly versatile and inexpensive. They can measure the level of just about any liquid within their temperature range. They are often used in waste liquids where the exact chemical makeup is ill defined and are also becoming popular for battery powered applications because of their low current draw.
